The team

Four disciplines. One firm.

Every Opus transaction is touched by a CPA realtor, a real estate lawyer, and a FSRA-licensed mortgage broker. Not partners we refer you to. People who work in the same firm on the same file.

The story

Why Opus exists.

Most Ontario brokerages are built around one role: a realtor who hands you off to outside professionals at each step. A lawyer. A mortgage broker. A condo lawyer if you're lucky. Each handoff is a place for the file to slow down or fall apart.

Opus runs the opposite model. The disciplines that matter most in a transaction (real estate, accounting, law, mortgage) sit inside the same firm and work the same file. The lawyer reviewing your title is the lawyer who closes the deal. The mortgage broker who pre-approved you is the broker who funds it. Nothing gets re-explained, nothing gets re-billed, and nothing falls between firms.

We work Ontario-wide, by appointment, for clients who expect the next standard.

Portrait of Ricky Kukkar, CPA and REALTOR

Ricky Kukkar

CPA, REALTOR®RECO + CPA Ontario

A Chartered Professional Accountant who works as a realtor. Specialises in condominiums, where the financial statements matter as much as the floor plan.

Ricky spent the early part of his career at a Big Four accounting firm in audit and tax. He sees a home the way investors see assets: not just a place to live, but a position on a balance sheet with cash flows, tax consequences, and a risk profile.

Condominiums and stratas are his specialty. Every Opus condo file gets the status certificate, reserve fund study, and operating budget reviewed line by line by a CPA before clients sign anything. Most agents don't read those documents at all. Ricky reads them for a living.

Portrait of Bryan Rowe, real estate lawyer

Bryan Rowe

Real Estate LawyerLaw Society of Ontario

Real estate counsel embedded in the brokerage. Every Opus transaction is reviewed by Bryan before, during, and at closing.

Bryan has spent his practice handling residential real estate closings in Ontario, including the cases that hide inside otherwise quiet files: old mortgages still registered on title, disputes between former spouses, contractor liens, warranty issues on newer builds, and the long list of small problems that turn into closing-day emergencies if no one catches them early.

On every Opus file he reviews the agreement of purchase and sale, the title, the survey, and the closing documents. The first time you meet your lawyer should not be the day you sign for keys.

Leo Naiman

Mortgage BrokerFSRA #M19002488 · Get A Better Mortgage Inc. Licence #10874

FSRA-licensed mortgage broker. Holds the direct lender arrangements that power the Opus exclusive rate.

Leo has spent nearly a decade as a registered mortgage broker in Canada and has placed mortgages across the full spectrum: first-time buyers, refinances, insured transfers, complex self-employed files, and the situations that turn standard mortgage advice into actual problem-solving.

On every Opus file he structures the mortgage alongside the purchase rather than after it, which is what makes the exclusive rate possible to deliver in writing and not just to advertise.
